When I first started getting eyelash extensions, my technician gave me the standard lecture: “Don’t use oil-based products, don’t sleep on your face, and make sure you clean them every single day.”
Back then, I assumed washing them with plain water or a bit of diluted baby shampoo would be totally fine. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. Within two weeks, my once-fluffy hybrid set looked sparse, clumpy, and sad. My extensions were popping off way before they should have, and my natural lashes felt heavy and irritated.
